My music- Eva Cassidy

First of all, I must say that I found it pretty difficult to choose just one song. There are so many musicians, melodies and styles I admire:) One of the singers I love listening to is Eva Cassidy, a great performer of famous songs. I used to think that covers are made by unimaginative people who want to make a fortune using someone else's ideas, but it's not like that in her case. When you listen to her, you discover well-known hits afresh and realise that the original versions of them were...well, just versions, not the best possible performances. At least this was what happened to me:) Unfortunately, Eva Cassidy died 12 years ago, at the age of 33. Her soothing voice always makes me sad, but I really admire her interpretations. I'd like you to see one of my favourite covers by Eva Cassidy, I'm sure you'll recognise it:)

Kórnik

I live near Kórnik, a small town 20 kilometres far from Poznań. As you probably know, there is a famous castle in my hometown. Some say that the sao-called White Lady haunts it but, frankly speaking, it's just a gimmicky idea to attract tourists:)))

There is also a beautiful garden
behind the castle. It's full of
breathtaking views, rare plants
and...truant players:)))

Kórnik is really beautiful at night, but I wouldn't advise anyone to go out when it's dark- you might put your life in jeopardy:)

As you can see the spelling of my hometown's name is debatable:). The truth is that it used to be "kurnik" in medieval times, but the inhabitants didn't find calling them hens funny:)))

what a horrible weather:/

as the weather today is not very nice I advise everyone to see Elwajra's blog and sing her song. This will cheer you up, I guess:)))
