I always wanted to be a teacher, even when I was a child and could not understand what it is like. That is why I was extremely anxious about my teaching practice and wanted to do my best. I spent hours searching for both interesting and informative topics, involving activities and nice visual aids. Me first lessons weren't that bad, but I must admit that I was scared and just pretended to be confident. I also tried hard to do everything "according to my plan" and my students probably felt like privates during their first days in army:) Fortunately, my "mentor teacher" was kind enough to give me some positive feedback and I could eventually calm down:)But the worst was to come...:) It turned out that my first "observed lesson" was going to be on Friday 13th. I called my sister every five minutes to ask if she thought I was going to pass or not:)I had the worst premonitions possible, including fainting students or me making a silly pronunciation mistake...Of course I exagerrated, everything was ok and I passed with flying colours. My next lessons were easier for me as I finally realised "who was the boss in the class:))and could focus on teaching itself. I can say now that it is really enjoyable for me and, although I have to improve in some respects, teaching seems the best option for me:)
